If you did want her in the BP, I have been to weddings where the bridal party will just dance with their dates or someone else at the wedding if they are not evenly matched. That is what we plan on doing.

Yeah, that's what we're doing too.

I have never seen the bridal party have a special dance?
I had an uneven bridal party - there was actually one extra groomsman. one girl walked down with 2 guys. It was fine. But the reading sounds like a nice idea too.

me and another girl on the 2010 boards were just talking about this...im from PA & every wedding ive been to, the wedding party is introduced & then dance with their partner..but she never heard of it either.. i told her, maybe its just a pa thing? lol

No Im from NY and thats how it is at every wedding Ive been to but when its uneven instead of dancing just the bridal party, the bridal party can have their partner come up and dance with them.

I am having an uneven # and I am pairing my one friend who will be married at the time of mine with a GM and other BM who isn't, this way when they dance her husband will come out and dance with her.

I am going to ask her to do it, bc I know obviously she will have a date, this way no one is left out

I'm the other girl

I swear, this is still new to me, even though I guess it's more common than I thought here in NY
