I want to have pictures taken somewhere besides my reception hall. I am looking into Old Westbury Gardens and the Vanderbilt in Centerport. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

The Planting Fields in Oyster Bay!!! I wish I had time to go there in between to take pictures. It is beautiful. And it's cheaper than Old Westbury

Northport dock? Its very beautiful down there. Take aride down and look around. My sister had her pictures taken there and they came out great!!!

My vote would be for Vanderbuilt! Both my FBILs had their pics there and they are breathtaking! but its alittle pricy! Northport is nice but was crowded when my MOH had her pics there! I have heard wonderful things of Planting fields and I think they have an indoor area as well in case of rain!!!
How did it go with the photographer?????

You know what I dont know for sure but at my one FBILs wedding it was a really really cr***y day out. There is like a covered stone archway that came out gorgeous in pictures! You should go there sometime and scope it out! Also, VIP has some sample pics in his office of Vanderbuilt! Ask him.

The Planting Fields in Oakdale is absolutely beautiful. I was going to do my pictures there before we moved the wedding out to Nassau County.
