ok so Our Ceremony shall be done around 3:30 + the time to take pics and come out for the bubbles... I am calculating 4:00....
I have decided to 'opt out' of my Cocktail hr .... there i want to be at my RH at 6:15.....
PLEASE
I have a TWO hr gap I guess....
I dont want a place that will be 45-60min aay bc then I will jhave NO TIME for nothing... =-(
My RH is on West Hemsptead... My Church is on Uniondale...
Now onto what I want...
Flowers.... Trees... and IF POSSIBLE (but yet important) Ocean.....
WHERE THE HELL DO I FIND SUCH A PLACE LIKE DA?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. It's only $100 for the permit. Thats where we went for our pictures.

sorry to crash but could I suggest one of the colleges around there? You have Molloy, Hofstra and Nassau all pretty close and they probably all have some manicured areas.

I went to Molloy College for undergrad and grad and then I actually taught there. I'll still keep in contact with some administration there so I can give you a name of someone to talk to if you want to take pictures there. There's no water though, but the grounds on the front lawn are beautiful. Just keep in mind, there's some construction going on (they are building dorms). Their chapel is beautiful too...and there's a gorgeous statue (I believe of Mary) right by it. You might be able to take pictures in front of Kellenburg Hall which is a beautiful red brick building with columns...they may even allow you inside that building where there's a marble staircase.
If you want more of a park, what about Hempstead Lake State Park? It may have geese, but I think that any park in Nassau county is gonna have goose poop...sorry! Scout the park ahead of time...there might be areas that aren't riddle with goose poop!

i would definitely try to contact Hofstra.
they are a national arboretum and have tons of pretty flowers out all year long
