Re: Wedding Planner
I wouldn't want a wedding planner, I actually enjoy doing this stuff. But I have started thinking about getting a DOC coordinator. I know I am going to have a lot of stuff I want set up at the RH just right, and I can't expect the RH people to do it all. Plus, if a vendor pisses me off I have a tendency to fly off the handle and I don't want to do this on my wedding day.

Re: Wedding Planner
I do have a wedding planner.. She is amazing. I wanted one because I wanted some one to know the wedding from inside out, beginning to end. Thats why a DOC was not enough for me.
When you have a planner, you still do all of the planning, you just have a professional there the help make suggestions, decisions, and help make your vision a reality. I go to her with all my ideas, and she makes them happen.
And also, I like the fact that someone will be there who will already know all of the details from beginning to end, and in case of an issue, she can say, thats not what we discussed, leaving me and my FH to enjoy our day.
As far as the cost, it worked into our budget, as we shopped around and found someone who we absolutely loved and who offered a great service at a great price.
