Congrats and welcome! Don't stress... enjoy being engaged. If there's one certain place that you feel you HAVE to have your wedding, I would say try to book that quickly. Other than the venue, there are sooooooooo many awesome photographers, florists, limo companies etc and you shouldnt feel as if you're behind at all. Ask questions when you're confused... we're all going through the same thing!

PULEEZEEEE you DO NOT need a wedding planner! i felt the same way in the beginning, but once you start booking things and savin pics of ideas you love... that ball will start rolling and wont stop for a lonnnnnnng time...

i havent hired one, and dont plan on it because i think theyre unnecessary if i have time to do everything myself. but on wedding shows, i have seen them from 1,500 to 3,500.00

oh my GOD! I LOVE YOU GUYS! Your all making me feel SOOO much better...we're like a sorority of brides haha
I feel so much better...officially. I have my meeting set up for next weekend at the Venetian Yacht Club and the catering manager said that my date is still open and I should be fine...huge relief.
So I'll keep you all posted and I know you'll do the same!

Congrats on your engagement!!!!! The whole wedding planner thing is up to you. It can be overwhelming planning a wedding but in the end it could be something so memorable because you planned out every detail yourself. You'll know what's best for you. HTH!! and Congrats again
