Re: Wedding planner?

I got one but I don't use it... Since I'm ALWAYS on the computer I made myself an excel spreadsheet with all of my info... everything from guest lists to vendor contact info, payment schedules, dress style numbers, buget info, table seating... I could go on and on!!!

I think when everythng is said and done I will put stuff in the binder as a memory book but I don't think I'll ever use it in the planning...

Re: Wedding planner?

my mom bought me one a couple of months before i got engaged lolol i guess she had a feeling! its 'The Complete Wedding Planner & Organizer'.....i really love it! the only thing is that i started shoving papers in it and realized the binder rings were waaay too small! so i just transfered it all into a freakin 3 in binder.....

Mine is called 'Tying the Knot' at first I had 'The complete wedding planner' but I have found this one to be much better.

Okay well I got this really sweet binder with all sorts of information and pages to ask vendors questions with a worksheet so you could see the answers altogether.

FH........says not to use it because it will look sloppy and we'll have it forever!!

I have one that I bought from the Knot.com.

It's great because it gives lots of ideas for questions to ask vendors, how things should be set up, how much to budget for each vendor, receiving line info, processional info, etc.

And it has divided pockets for all of the contracts. I also keep a spreadsheet with all of my payment information and write it all in the planner as well. This way I have everything electronically and on paper.
