Wedding Planner

Hello Girls,

I apologize that I have not made myself more involved in the postings during the last few months. I have been working 6 days a week. -Therefore I feel some or most of you may not feel great about helping me as much as you would the other brides- because again I havent contributed as much as others have. Hopefully someone will read this and be able to give me some insight.

Was wondering if anyone was using a weddings planner?LIKE full blown, conception to day of type of deal. I tried to get quotes from a couple of companies and my eyes bulged! They were telling me for partial wedding services (since I already have a design for my STD and Invites and my RH), it is close to 10,000$ WHAT! And I have to pay for transportation for the day before to set up( understandable), meals( also understandable if they mean during the day of the event) and hotel room (This is the part I am confused about- I'm having a afternoon wedding - 12-6, why would I need to pay for 2 nights of a hotel for 3 people?) I'm concerned that it's a tatic of some sort,but their operation is superb (L'Atelier Rouge is the company) Has anyone had quotes from other companies for similar services? Is it really that expensive?

That is VERY expensive. Talk to A Modern Day Affair. They are awesome Wedding coordinators and they offer a full planning package for 1/10 of that cost. HTH!

I have a DOC not a full blown coordinator so I am not really sure on how much it should cost. Maybe take an average of the costs of a few and see which one is the best for the cost?

I am using cheeky glam events Jamie and heather are amazing at what they do and go above and beyond. I am using their DOC but I know they are now doing full wedding planning and have a HUGE array of packages available. They have tons of experience in the field to. I am sure you will fall in love instantly and I have never heard a bad review of them. You can reach them at [email protected]. ( they are long island based so no travel would be needed)
