Hello ladies, so its been a little while since I have done the planning thing. But my sister just got engaged and I wanted to get her a really nice planner/organizer to help her through this lengthy process....any suggestions where I can order or buy one? TIA!!

Re: Wedding planner/organizer
I can't recommend an organizer but I received three when I got enagaged. I actually found the magazines and journals I recieved much more useful. There is a Real Simple Wedding magazine with has checkliusts and is practically a planner - I would recommend that for sure!

Re: Wedding planner/organizer
Like 'they' have told me, you don't need a wedding planner if your venue is a full service one.
But when I told 'them', I'm doing it in a vineyard, and I just booked the patch of grass next to the vines so I'll need to rent ... everything! 'They' said, 'oh, then yeah, you really need a wedding planner'...
I think its excessive, now that I went through the process. Magazines are amazing. I can send you the ones I'm threw with, FM me...
And almost everything in the Real simple book is online, budget planner, organizer, etc:
I bought the Easy Wedding Planner (a large pink book), but have found useless for the most part. I created my own planner/organizer instead with the following items from Staples:
2-inch ring binder 1 pack plastic sheets that hold business cards 10-15 plastic pocket dividers
I also printed out a calendar that shows all twelve months in one shot, as well as monthly calendars of the 3 months leading up to and including the month of the wedding.
This plus a couple of wedding magazines has helped me A LOT.
