Wedding Planners

Hi Ladies,

Does anyone know how much the average cost for a wedding planner is? I don't know how to do anything or what I am doing with anything and I am really lost. I need help!!!

I want to offer someone I know... the job of doing this (she helps me out all the time and I would prefer her over hiring someone else and her wedding was the best wedding I have ever been to) but I don't know what is a fair price to offer her.

I think they can run from $1200-1600 and up. The Two I interviewed said they cost about that much. I got these prices just out of curiosity but I was mainly looking for a DOC. Hope this helps!

I would say about a thousand....im guessing this based off of my experience watching 'Rich Bride, Poor Bride' lol

but really, i think it depends on how much work they do for you etc...but i would say between 1000-1500 is fair (especially if you know her, she should be willing to help at a cheaper cost)
