Wedding planning regrets

Are there any parts of your wedding that you have planned that you wish you could change? Be it size, location...anything?

I would change 2 things:

1. I would have loved to have a 50 - 75 guest wedding, but I didn't find many halls that would take so few (plus my FMIL is a drama queen with a lot of friends)

2. I would have been engaged for 2 years instead of 1 so I could enjoy planning with out the rush

Even though I haven't had my wedding yet I know something I would have liked to change. I am having a small wedding (120) but if it was up to me I would have had only around 80 or so. When I told my parents that I'M PAYING for this wedding figuring they wouldn't want friends, they didn't say such.

I'm not getting married until May, but I wish I had discovered this LIW before I booked my DJ and my Photographer. I think I could have found better deals with the help of all you ladies.

At this moment of stress I am regretting having a big wedding. I wish FH and I went to Vegas and had a small gathering there, I don't care who comes, who doesn't RSVP, I wouldn't care about favors or anything, but again this is the stress talking right now

Oh yeah. I would have had my destination wedding...a much smaller BP, a different dress.. (I loved my dress, but I really wanted a custom dress that I designed), definately different limo & videographer.....I booked a lot of the stuff quickly b/c I was engaged for only 7 months & it took us 2 months to get the date from DH church, so other than the dress I planned our wedding in 5 monhts!

ETA: Oh, and I definately would have haggled more re: dress and accessories pricing!

I would not have changed my hall, my m-u artist, my photographer, dj or band....

I wish I did my hair trial before I bought my head piece and veil..I am wearing my hair different than I thought...I feel like the hp and veil doesn't work with the new hairstyle.

I wish I had found this site before I had booked my photographer- I am unhappy with them, and definately would have chosen someone else.

i wish i thought about what i pictured my day to be before planning - i would have gotten married on top of a ski mountain in winter and had the recption at a hotel on the montain

but my wedding will work too - it is a mix of the two of us and not just what i want
