I am so sad the wedding is over! I don't know what to do with myself lately ... This wedding was my 'baby' for the past year and a half, and now that its over, I feel like all I can do is chase my tail. I mean, I'm super excited to go on my mini-moon Monday, and we just got a house (for rent), so I am excited to move on October 1, but none of this compares to all the suspense and excitement of the wedding! I think I need to become a wedding planner now and fill this void ... haha!
Has anyone else gone through this?

Re: Wedding Post-Partum??
I am helping 2 girls with planning. Nothing crazy just ideas and gave them my book of prices and stuff that I had acquired along the process ( phone call after phone call, hall after hall, dj after dj etc.) I have told them to join the boards but for now they lurk...
I want another wedding! Oh yeah an DH does too!

Re: Wedding Post-Partum??
I'd settle for going to numerous weddings at my venue. That'd work for me

Re: Wedding Post-Partum??
I definitely know how you feel. Believe it or not I broke down a week before the wedding saying how I wanted the wedding to go slow and how I know it is going to go by so fast. I was miserable, and still am. Everything was so exciting: planning, meetings, appointments and it's all come to a screeching hault. It feels like theres nothing exciting to look forward to even though I love my DH, the wedding stuff kept things so exciting. My DH keeps saying 'it's ok, soon we'll be excited about babies.' *sigh* Well I asked my DH if we could renew our vows in five years if I can still fit in my dress. Lucky for me I have a corset back so I can gain a few pounds.
