So I'm one of the brides effected by the whole postage increase... I finally broke down and ordered a $.41 stamp off of zazzle.com... I didn't want to pay the extra money, but I really didn't want to put two stamps on my RSVP... but the exciting part, well at least I'm excited about it, is that I found a coupon for zazzle! $10 off orders over $50! Here's the coupon code: HAPPYCOUPONS!
The picture of my stamp is in my albums if you want to see it!

Re: Wedding Postage....
I LOVE that stamp!! I personally don't really care for the ones with pictures on them (at least not MY picture lol!!). I wonder if I should order them too.....the new stamps come out 6/24- I wanted to mail them that week, since my RSVP is 8/04....what do you think? just wait it out for USPS to get on the ball?

Re: Wedding Postage....
I just looked on Zazzle and it looks like you're paying almost double for a stamp, is that right?

Re: Wedding Postage....
It is pretty much double, but I'm getting married in Ireland and more than half of my guest list is in Ireland. Since they will be mailing the RSVP's from Ireland to the US I don't have to worry about their stamps so I only had to order stamps for my OOT guests... I ordered 80 stamps, 4 sheets, and it came out to $53... my mom thinks I'm crazy for paying that much for RSVP stamps and if it was for all the invites I probably wouldn't have done it, but since I had the coupon I just did it! I figured I could give up my morning coffee for 2 weeks and the saving could pay for the stamps! Anything to justify it!

Re: Wedding Postage....
i am so confused at the moment - my invites are going out before June 24th and my respond date is july 12th! should i just get the regular wedding stamps and over pay for the outside and add the additinal postage for the response??? this is so annoying doesnt the USPS know anything about weddings

Re: Wedding Postage....
for what it's worth, I just looked at the postal web site www.usps.com. as an alternative to the high prices at zazzle and the flag stamps, they are supposedly putting out on 5/11 a triangular stamp for Jamestown settlement. it does say that but at least it has a nice ship and blue skies and an odd shape - - yes it's a triangle and I might get these for my RSVP's. I need ot mail mid June so I have a little time to see if any others come out but if not . . . I have some 39's from Disney Romance which are cute of Mickey/Minnie Cinderella,Beaty/Beast and Lady/tramp which I might use on invites with 2 penny stamps - - those have orangey birds which I think are nicer than those necklaces. Maybe others could try this route.
Figured how to add the image (not too bad for RSVP??)
I don't know which is correct but I had emailed the USPS and got this answer in regards to when the new wedding stamps would be out:
Subject --------------------------------------------------------------- Can you please tell me when the new 41 cent wedding stamp will be avaliable f...
Thank you for contacting us about upcoming stamp releases.
I apologize, we are not releasing the Wedding Hearts stamps until June 27. We currently have two $0.41 stamps available nationwide. They are:
