Hello ladies. I want to thank everyone that helped me through my situation. As you all know I found out I am pregnant. I told my parents yesterday. My mom was very supportive. My dad reacted calm, but he was VERY disapointed in me. He wants my FH to get married ASAP, but i decided to move in with my FH and we postponed the wedding until Feb. 2008. WE will get married and baptize that same day. I'm feeling down and depressed because I'm still living at my house. It hurts me seeing my parents down and depressed. It's my fault and I feel really bad. I feel like I am the worst daughter in the world. I can't go and stay with my FH because He doesn't want me living in the apartment he lives now. Because he has his brother and sister in law as roommates. We looked at a condo today, and we are planning on moving in there maybe tomorrow or tuesday. In the meanwhile i just feel depressed. Plus to top it off my stomach has been hurting off and on. I don't know wether its normal or not. thank you all for listening and your support.

Re: WEDDING POSTPONED
Hey listen, the most important thing right now is to hold steady for your baby. Congratulations!!!! And don't feel disappointed in yourself, or let your parents get you down, this happens to many couples through the ages. You are NOT the worst daughter in the world!! You are trying to do the right thing! So hold your head high and remember that in a year, noone will even recall feeling this way because you will have a BEAUTIFUL BABY in your arms to cherish! (And don't forget about your parents being grandparents!). Good luck!! (and breathe deeply, its calming!!)

Re: WEDDING POSTPONED
cheer up sweetie! I know this isnt the way you envisioned things happening....and neither did your parents, but having a baby is such a blessing. It seems like you and FH have a great head on your shoulders -- getting a condo and postponing the wedding are both very good decisions for you right now...and baptising the baby on your wedding day will be absolutely beautiful
I wish you both the best of luck during this time. And try not to worry.....I'm a very firm believer that everything happens for a reason and everything will work out

First off, Congratulations!!!!!!!!! I am sorry you are feeling so down but hey it happens and once your parents get over the initial shock they will too be happy for you!! Just give them a little time and all of these feelings will be taken over by lots of excitement for the baby.

I promise you that everything will work out! I've been there and although it wasn't easy....I would not change it for the world! You and FH seem strong and as long as your stay so, you will have a wonderful little family and your parents will be so proud of you they'll forget that they were ever disappointed!
Good Luck!

You are going to have a beautiful, special wedding/baptism day. Your dad is just being a dad! Once he sees his cute little grandchild and his daughter as a gorgeous bride, he will melt! Everything will work out just fine!

As a mom to 3 babies nefore being married, I can totally relate. I always thought my parents were disappointed that I did things backwards, but ya know what? It won't matter. Once the initial shock wears off, they will be thrilled for you, your FH and the beautiful new baby!
