Do you have to do a wedding program?I really want to but my fiancee thinks that it is a waste of money. What have you decided as a couple?

You don't HAVE too.. nobody will notice if you don't.. I'm only doing them, because I have 10 months til the wedding, and I need something to keep me occupied!!! it will cut costs and save time if you DON'T do them

We had to. We've incorporated our cultural backgrounds into our wedding day. That includes having 2 wedding cakes (one from our reception venue and the other was a gift from DH's aunt which was a Lithuanian wedding cake). We wrote a brief description of what the Lithuanian wedding cake was. It was important because we're of 4 cultural backgrounds. I'm Chinese-American and DH is half Lithuanian (mother) and half Japanese (father)---however we're both Americans.

We did. WE also incorporated our different faiths and cultures into our wedding.

We did them, but tried to be creative. Since we are both actors we did them like a playbill. We had photos and bios of the whole wedding party and our parents. They were a huge hit. We designed them ourselves so it was inexpensive.

I have decided to do them also b/c I wanted an extra project and it isn't costing that much more since I am doing them in my computer! I bought the actual programs but I will print them all on my computer. Good luck!

no bc we see it as a waste of $$. if you really want to do them though you might want to think of doing them yourself and save a few bucks i asked my mom about it and she said people roll them up, stick them in their pocket and throw them out. so we decided not to
