Wedding Program Question

I am having a difficult time trying to decide on the wording for our wedding program. This is the second marriage for both my FH and myself and I have two daughters (ages 10 and 12 from the previous marriage) that live with us. During our wedding ceremony after the reading but before the invocation, my FH is going to be making a promise, to my two daughters, of loving and respecting them as if they were his own and he will be presenting them with a necklace that is symbolic of the four of us (one big heart with three little hearts attached), here is the question.....how do I word this in the program? Or should I leave the wording of this out completely?
