THE MONEY!!! If Someone gave it to be, And said dont use towards wedding I wouldnt..thats a house down payment!

You can do a very nice wedding for $20K. Thats what I would do... spend $20K on the wedding and save $20K

ummmm...the money. small intimate ceremony at city hall and then a really nice dinner for those closest to celebrate and then buy a house baby!!!

I would opt for the 1/2 and 1/2 also. Sadly, we didn't have that option, and we had a wedding for a lot less. But the memories are worth it!

Spend the money on the wedding, and you will probably receive some nice gifts, so you end up having a nice wedding, and with some $$ afterwards.

I was gonna say.. my budget is $20k. So I'd take the money and do both, keep it and use it on the wedding!

Money...I would try to do a low budget wedding, and use the rest for a house!

If we had had the option, we would've taken the money. Although our wedding was fantastic, it would be much nicer to have the money and more security.
