To all past brides....and those who have attended weddings....we are having a debate with friends of ours as to who toasts the bride and groom first at the wedding reception.

I have been to weddings where both BM & MOH have made toasts.

I would say BM should definitly do it first. I'm still deciding if I would even want MOH to do a toast.

i've always seen the best man do the first toast, in fact i can't remember ever seeing a moh do a toast

From the weddings I've been to, the BM always goes first, then the MOH (if she does one).

Its usually the BM but honestly, its ur wedding and u can do whatever u want!

I know that I would like both the Best Man and MOH to make toats but the BM I think should go before the MOH!!!!

I'm trying to remember at weddings I've been to.. hmm.. I don't think it matters who goes first.. personal preference I think.. I think I'll have my MOH do it first then the BM.

im only having the BM toast, unless my MOH's really want to.
i went to a wedding where the BM, MOH, a bridesmaid all made seperate toasts, and someone else sang (with was really nice) but it was too much!

Ladies first is usually how it goes. therefore, the maid of honor goes first.

My weddign it was opposite.. my sister went first then BM. And in her weddign 3 yrs ago I went first.

I've seen both-at my mom's the DJ made me do it first. At a lot of weddings though-I've seen the BM do it first. Sorry I am no help at all.
