what halls have a minimum of 50 guests that aren't too expensive, around $65 pp? everywhere i call has a minimum of 75-100 people. i had to take people off my guest list because of family fights and now i'm down to 50.
Definately call Mike Giangreco he is with East Wind caterers,and look at the Country Gardens. It may be too far out east for you but it's very pretty and it sounds like it can accomodate your needs.. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!1

What about favorite restaurants with private rooms? They can usually accomodate smaller parties.
Our friends had their reception at La Pace in Glen Cove. They have a seperate room for cocktail hour and their food is unbelievable!!!
I had my engagement party at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst in the Dockside room and I only had 50 people. I paid only $50pp (if I remember correctly) but that was an e-party, so I'm sure they'll charge more for a wedding, but it can't be THAT much more. Give them a call and check it out. It's real pretty and it's on the water. Plus, the service was excellent!
