Do most people have their wedding rehearsal at the actual ceremony site or is it the norm to rehearse at the restaurant where you're having the dinner?

Re: Wedding rehearsal - at the site?
No, it should be at the ceremony site unless the site is like, in a backyard and it's raining. Then I think it would be OK to have it at the restaurant.

it's usually at the ceremony site (so if you are getting married at the church then it's there, if you're getting married at the RH, then you have it at the RH).

It depends if your ceremony site allows you to rehearse there then yes you could but if your site is like my church that doesn't allow you to rehearse then having it at a restaurant is fine.

If you are getting married at the reception hall depending on the hall they may not allow for a rehersal until the day of the wedding.

Really Gloria - you can't have the rehearsal at your church? I've never heard of such a thing! That's ridiculous!
