Wedding related...

Are people having any bridal party parties???

We're having a rehearsal dinner---paid for my my FIL's...And of course my shower---paid for by my Momma...

But I'm wondering...Should I do a bridesmaid brunch...Or a bridal party BBQ...Or nothing at all...

Is anyone else doing anything fun and/or party-ish with the bridal party?

Note: I have a LARGE BP.

I'm not planning on doing anything, but my friend had a bridal party BBQ two weeks before her wedding last summer, and it was really fun.

Well we have 4 people in 4 different states, so we aren't doing anything.

With all your people, maybe you should go bowling?

Interesting that you would say that b/c FH and I are big bowlers...We have been on leagues for five years.

I wanted to do a bridesmaid lunch or breakfast, but time constraints and budget didn't alllow for it. It's a great idea....it gets you all away from the wedding stuff and allows for some relaxation.

I also think the brunch the day after is a great idea to!

We like to bowl too, but we arn't league material. He is good for an amatuer, I suck.

nope. we LOVE bowling...i'm not that great either...but it's so much fun. we absolutely LOVE the people on our league...i wish we could invite them all to the wedding.

My mom wants to have a tea, but I think it will be more a pin in the a$$ for everyone than fun. She says I'm too negative

I went to a tea that was a small shower for a cowrker who's family was all OOT, and it was at Writer's & Angler's in the Village.

It was actually a lot of fun.
They have a 'high tea' menu that we all got, and then jsut bring you sevaeral small courses. The food was great.
they also have other a la carte options if you don't want the fixed menu. We went on a Sunday afternoon, there were other people but it wasn't crowded, so they put table together for us in the middle, there were about 8 people. And then we attempted to read our tea leaves It was funny!
