Wedding related but just chatting...

I changed my mind about all LIW stuff (things I've never heard of) like cry packs, slipper baskets, 'we do' letters, etc...

BUT - I really, really, really want to do 'Day After' pics - I want to buy a $99 dress from David's and do the whole 'trash the dress' bit. Seriously.

honestly, if I didn't have to pay for the whole hair/make-up and alterations on a $99 dress I'd probably feel the same way as you! The alterations will cost more than the dress! It is a great idea though, the girls who did the day after pics got great shots

i would love to do that ( but like you, not with my actual dress)

but i REALLY would love to do boudoir pics - i just have no where to do them! i live at home and so does FH so i cant say 'hey mom can you leave the house for a little bit i want to take half naked pictures and spend a ridiculous amount of money on them'

my care bear bed spread really isnt conducive to pics

The boudoir pics are really nice!!! My mom and aunt got them done in like the 80s!!! They went to a studio though....

Jessica Claire has done a little bit of everything. I actually love the site.

I'm with you Matilde, I'd rather do the boudiar pics too... I just need to loose a few LBs if ya know what I mean!

I had told my mom about the 'trash your dress' idea and she hated it... she reacted like I told her I had killed a person.... but I think buy a cheapo ( but still pretty dress) is a great idea.

and no they're not actually the day after the wedding...usually a few weeks, months or even a year after the wedding

A year after the wedding I would probably just do some professional portraits. Similar to the engagement pics but obviously at that time we will be married.

i live at home also buuuuuuuuuuuut my parents are planning on going away in oct so im hoping i can pull some $$ together to do them for FH. i love the idea.
