Wedding related.. What should I buy the guys in my BP?

What would be COOL?

I've seen the flask.. not bad.
I've seen the money clip.. cheesy. IMO

What would be really unique?
Or is it better to just buy something for each based on their own tastes?

we had so many guys, we did the oversized beer mugs (glass) and had them personalized with thier nicknames (they all have nicknames)...$18 a mug at the Attias Fleamarket!

ETA: we were going to personalize further by filling them with things that each guy liked like golf tees or guitar picks, but we ran out of time and $$

We are getting our groomsmen gift certificates to a steakhouse in the city.

They all have the customary money clips, cuff links, flasks, beer mugs, shot glasses etc ...

At least I know their eating habits and I know they'll enjoy a night out on us - maybe all together when FH gets back from the honeymoon!

nah, i agree it is cheesy, but couldn't think of anything else

how about an engraved pen and pencil set? or engraved business card holders

how about beer or wine of the month club...or treating them to some kinda sporting event after the wedding..a guys nite out as a thank you

I am getting my best man a poker chip set similar to the one pictured above (500 chip version).

But this doesn't work for my entire party since we would all be playing poker together most likely. Dont' need five sets of 500 chips.

This is an awesome idea!! Though it can get kind of costly if you have a large amount of guys in your BP

Speaking of , DH did the traditional - pocket watches and monogrammed wallets (not money clips, heavens forbid )

DH got his guys watches the matched their lifestyle and personality.

He also got them each a movie that described his relationship with them. For one GM, he got 'Office Space' bc the agency they worked for was horrible.

We enrolled our GM in a beer of the month club. (We can only afford it for 6 months, though! )

For our best man we got a signed first edition of his favorite book.

We got our guys really cool Leatherman things from EMS. Most of ours guys are either outdoorsy or work with their hands, so this was perfect. Also, they had cool looking nylon pouches, not those old school leather ones.

We got our guys cufflinks of their favorite sports teams from cufflinks.com...

Then we got them monogrammed duffel bags from Eddie Bauer, similar to this but bigger

I actually like the stein since most of them are Yankee fans. Objectively, it's a really cool mug

I love the picture frame too.. I would put a picture of the Yankee's faces when they got knocked out of the playoffs.

Hopefully they'll have Kleenex in hand.
