Wedding Report!!!LONG

Okay I''m finally back but my computer service is down so I''m on a friends computer. This will be fast but I''ll report more later.
God,where to begin,
Showtime Limos, I had two and one of them had a huge dent in the door and the other one had a big black scratch down the side. I went the day before the wedding to see them to find out that they were no longer in the Great Neck location but they had moved to Hempstead without telling me. Would not recommend them.
Parameters DJ, OH BOY, okay not one song from the 90''s barely any from the 80''s hardly anyone danced besides one table of people, not very happy at all. Eddie the owner was nice and tried to do good I guess but not many people enjoyed the music. I was upset.
Leonard''s of Great Neck, very good. The bridal assistants were sweet hearts the maitre''d was also very helpful. The only thing is when we got there they had given us the smaller bridal suite then they were supposed to and we couldn''t fit my whole bridal party in the room but they had given the bigger one away. Not a very big deal. The service was great the food was excellent also.
Wedding Group one Photographers, we went to Old Westbury Gardens for pics before hand which I wouldn''t recommend anyone doing. It was really hot and we had to walk all around through dirt and bird stuff. We were sweating so much all my make-up was off by the end I had tons of leaves stuck in my dress my shoes were ruined from a puddle, my husband was soaked with sweat because he had his tux on of course and it was just way to hot. I was burnt out before we even got to the church and in a very bad mood because I just had pics taken for 2 hours with no make-up on and my hair was a mess from all the sweat and my shoes were ruined and my dress was ripped from a tree. All in all I married the one I loved and after 7 and a half years of dating I''m really glad it was over. I had alot higher expectations and I was really let down but the way things went but you only get to do it once so, oh well.
Oh ya one more thing sorry, At the end of the wedding my mom asked me if the photographers got any shots with my grandparents and the answer is no. I didn''t realize until I got home and they also didn''t get any with my parents. Pretty upsetting. I''m very nervous about my proofs so make sure your photographer gets shots with your parents and grandparents if you have them. They''re important. I know I know it''s been long but I will report more back when my computer service is back up!! Thanks for everyones help!!

i am very scared! I don't know if I would have made it through the day! Hope the Honeymoon was fun

It seems like only recently when we were comparing notes on Wedding Group One. You're absolutely right! After months of planning and anticipating it's only one night and the main point is that you married the one you love! Best wishes!

Scared to ask about the honeymoon

Hi Janice, I know what you mean I'm scared for my honeymoon also!! We didn't take one yet since we flew up from Texas we won't get our vacation time again until Jan. and then we're going to go to aruba. I'll report more than LOL!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your disapointments. I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon. I am also taking pictures before the church in July & am getting nervous about the getting swetty & dirty part. I booked the church for 6 because it's on a Friday. I'm wondering if I should try to get the 4:30 & take pictures afterwards. I just didn't want my guests to be in limbo for 2 hours. What do you think?
