Wedding Review

I can't believe the weather held out and I was able to go to the Oyster Bay Aboretum and have my ceremony outside.

Crest Hollow: A++++ They really were so wonderful and nice and got me anything I needed. When we got there they were all ready for us. We took bridal party and parent pics outside and they drove us all around so we wouldn't have to walk. The only thing that scared me was they didn't know that the ceremony was supposed to be outside (maybe they thought that it was humid and I wouldn't want it). But I told the Maitre D that the ceremony must be outside and he said no problem. They food was awesome and the added frozen drink bar was a huge hit!

Duet Photography: A+++++++++++++++++++
They are sooooo amazing. They went above and beyond what I thought. One photographer and videographer showed up at my house early to take getting ready pics and another one showed up at where my HUSBAND was. Then we went to the Oyster Bay Aboretum to take pics with him and I and they showed up with THREE photographers and the videographer and Nicole (the wife of the videographer who are both the owners) to help set us up for pics and carry my train throughout the aboretum. Then we got to the Crest Hollow to take parent and bridal party pics and they were so great they knew all the pics to take and they were so wonderful and easy to work with. During the cocktail hour and reception they just took a ton of pics and video. Everyone said that I am going to have the a ton of pictures and amazing shots. My sister said that she can't believe how many pics they were taking. But they were never up in your face or taking you away from the party. THEY WERE AMAZING! DEFINATELY THE BEST VENDOR I HAD!!

DJ: Get In Tune A+ They were really wonderul and Andy the Emcee was GREAT!!! If anyone is thinking of something for cocktail hour, GET THE STEEL DRUMS!! It was a huge hit and went perfect with the frozen drink bar. It really got everyone in a great party mood for the reception. Andy got everyone on the floor and was teaching all kinds of dances to my little sisters and nieces (who never stopped for one second). They did a really great job with the ceremony. We also added the percussionist to the reception and that was great it really added just that little added touch.

Flowers: Burtons A++++++ They were really gorgeous and the colors went perfect with everthing. They were on time to drop of all the bouquets and boutineers (sp?)! They only thing that I didn't like was the throw away bouquet but I forgot to tell them that I wanted a bouquet just like mine.

Hair and Makeup: Jen from Fairytale A++++++++
She was soooooo great and my hair and makeup came out sooo amazing. She airbrushed my makeup on and it stayed for the whole day. I didn't have to touch up at all even after I was practically sweating duing the ceremony. Plus she was early (and of course I was running late). She is soooo great.

Limos: All the Way Limos A+++++++++++
They were so great. I used them for my bachelorette party and decided to use them for the wedding. He was nice and early - I said I had to leave by 7:45 and he was there by 7:10 to pick me up. He said that he would rather be early so I wouldn't worry. And they were right on time to pick me up at the end. He even put Matt's Boutineer on him.

Hotel: Marriott Melville A+++++++++ They were so nice and gave us everything they promised and threw in some chocolate covered strawberries. Plus the room was great!!

Anything I am missing? Everything was really wonderul even the weather held up - it was so important to me. But the day went soooo fast I really didn't even eat. When we went back to the Marriott I had to order something because I was sooo hungry.
