wedding reviews...
form the 2 weddings I went to on Sunday.
1st one was at west sayville country club. It was a home reception( they got married in Jamaica) at 12:00. They had a brunch buffet, which was perfect because I didn't eat breakfast. So I got both breakfast & lunch.! The place was nice, especially the outside. IMO I think it's a strange setup, as the tables were in 1 room & the DJ, dance floor, & bar were in another room. The bridal attendant was very attentive & ran all over the place..she worked very hard. As for the rest of the staff, they were nice as well. I had a very nice time & I think that anyone who is having a smaller wedding there would be happy.
2nd weding was at villa lombardis at 6:00. I have been to Villa's many times, so I already knew that the place was beautiful! The CH was excellent...best food of the night.
As for dinner, I ordered chateau briand & it was more like
sirloin. It tasted good, but not a filet. Someone else at my table got the fish & said it was very fishy. The potatoe crockets are outstanding! The desserts were also very yummy! It was a very nice wedding, but they just had too much going on. I felt like everytime we got up to dance the DJ would announce to please take your seat for something(another course of food, 6 toasts,etc..). Speaking of DJ they were LI Sound. They were really good! I'm sooo glad we booked them. Any bride getting married at Villa Lombardis will have a wonderful wedding.
I will post pics as soon as FH uploads them in the computer.
