Wedding rings
FH and I are going to pick our our wedding rings tonight. Any advice???

Where are you going to look? What types of rings are you looking for?

I'm not to crazy about department store rings or Zales - I feel like they are to generic. I thought Whitehall Jewelers in Roosevelt field had some nice looking rings at reasonable prices. I'm thinking about checking them out for wedding bands if I don't get them customized from another jeweler like in New Jersey..

I looked at some yesterday. Once upon a time ago in my former professional life, I was in the jewelry business. I went to one of the places my former boss owns and look at some bands. He has great stuff and the new styles are cool. Plus, they can have pretty much anything made for you these days.
I have a 'tiffany' setting so it'll be hard to get anything to sit flush against my ring. I'm thinking of having a wrap made for my ring. Essentially the middle curves around my stone and the wrap goes flush against my ring.
Think about all the scenarios you might find yourself in. I decided I'll probably want more than one wedding band. The diamond wrap, if I go with a wrap, and a regular band yellow or white gold band that matches his.
