Has anyone been to the Wedding Salon of Manhasset? Some friends suggested that my daughter look there for her gown, but I was under the impression that it is rather on the expensive side. Anyone have experience here?

I had a great experience there. They have some not so expensive dresses. If you give them a price range they stay in it

I got my dress there and I am actually going for another fitting this evening. They definately are pricey but I think they are amazing and I have had nothing but a positive experience with them so far.
I believe there dresses start at $2000 and that is not including alterations.

i did not find my dress there but i had a WONDERFUL experience. the staff was so nice and sooo helpful. the dresses are pricey, but they will def try to stay in your budget.
also, sometimes they have a sample sale section. it's not like the regular sample sales dresses at the crazy salons. the prices are amazing and the dresses in very good condition.

i personally had an awful experience there. the sales girl was rude and not helpful. she brought me the opposite of what i said i wanted and then told me to come back when i knew what i was talking about. she will remain nameless!
a few years ago when my friend got married we were in there all the time for her gown, bm dresses, fittings, etc and had great experiences. i guess its hit or miss. ask for noreen shes a doll!

i got my dres there and they were great i was dealing with the owner Susan and she was awesome. one of my best vendors .

I did not get my gown there but I did get my bridesmaids dresses there...They have been nothing but great...a friend of mine used them for her gown and BM dresses as well and had a great expereince...She used Casey for her alterations and also had Casey to help her the day of her wedding with her gown - she was nothing but amazing...I would LOVE to have her for my wedding....
Their prices are a little on the higher side but the service makes up for it...they also have gowns on the lower end...they work with your price range...

My best friend got her dress there and they are wonderful!! They are a bit pricey, but the experience of trying on dresses there was so nice and Sania was so helpful that my friend didn't mind spending a bit more to get it there. I know that their prices are competitive with Kleinfelds, and IMO it's so much better. When I start looking (I'm a bit too far away still) it will be the first place I go
