Re: Wedding Salon of Manhasset Question
My sister got her Reem there and it was less than $5k. She got them to work with her on the price. I'd still go.

Re: Wedding Salon of Manhasset Question
I have nothing but good things to say about Wedding Salon, especially Noreen, the sales associate who helped me both times I went there. Their dresses range in price, but I'm not too sure what the bottom range is. Most of the dresses they showed me were $3000+. They are really nice there and so accomodating. WS was the first place I went to and I went back to WS after going to Kleinfelds and found the same dress for $500 less. After I ordered it, I started to have second thoughts about whether I should've ordered a different gown by the same designer. When I called Noreen to find out whether it would even be possible to transfer my 50% deposit from one dress to another, not only did she tell me that I could (my wedding planner said that she didn't have to do this at all) but she even set up an appointment for me to meet with the designer so I could talk to him about the dresses and get his opinion on what modifications could/should be made and which is better suited for me. I could not believe how wonderful Noreen was! Definitely go there!

Re: Wedding Salon of Manhasset Question
I bought my ines di santo dress at bridal reflections, i had gone to wedding salon in manhasset but they didn't have any. If they did i would have prefeered to buy it from there, they were so nice and friendly, i must have tried on every reem acra dress which were all gorgeous i just fell in love with the ines di santo dress.

Re: Wedding Salon of Manhasset Question
A friend of mine wanted a Reem Acra from there and it was $4,000. She actually found a place in Astoria (called Simply Different) and they were going to charge $2,800!! So my conclusion is Wedding Salon of Manhasset is TOTALLY OVERPRICED!

Just an FYI to be careful with 'Simply different'. They do have beautiful dresses, but a lot of them are not the brand names. They are imitation dresses. Which if you can't tell the difference then who cares. Some people rather save the money.
I went there and asked from a Reem Acra and lazaro, but they said they do not carry, but they can make one for me that is just as nice.

Re: Wedding Salon of Manhasset Question
I got my Reem Acra at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset, and I had a great experience there. My dress was under $5000. My seamstress was Jo, and she did a terrific job on the alterations and the French bustle. I would highly recommend the Wedding Salon.

While shopping at several salons for my Reem Acra, I was told by both Wedding Salon and Kleinfelds that Reem Acra sets the price of the dress, and if salons are caught discounting the dress, the line will be pulled from the store. The gown stores offer other incentives to get you to buy at their store.
That is why people wait for trunk shows, when some dresses are discounted as per the designer.

Re: Wedding Salon of Manhasset Question
I also ordered my dress at the Wedding Salon and I thought thier prices were about $500. less than other places I've been to for the same exact dress. So, far I've had a good experience with them. I would also recommend them.

this is true- I went to Reem's salon, Kleinfeld and WS of Manhasset- prices were all comparable.
