wedding shoe help

can you wear silver shoes with a white wedding dress?

I wanted to, but my mom says no.

Did anyone wear this look or have any opinions on it?

You can wear whatever color you'd like. No one is going to see them under your dress anyway. Take a look at Kittythestray's pics. She wore lepard print.

I am wearing silver shoes cause I will have a silver/platinum sash on my gown. But I think even if you dont have silver accents, you can do it. A lot of girls wear pale /ice blue shoes to be their 'something blue.' I think its nice to throw in a little color.

i say why not? a lot of dresses have silver accents and i think that would look nice.....and honestly, your shoes arent seen for the whole wedding anyway. theyll be kicked off by the time you get to the reception!! (jmo)

ofcourse you can its all a matter of preferance and personal choice. My dress is white and i opted for white shoes only b/c thats what i want to wear. You can definitly wear silver shoes with a w hite dress imo though.

I'm wearing silver shoes with my ivory dress. Just to spice things up a little bit, they fit my personality better than a 'classic' ivory shoe.

why not?? Will it match your jewelry/ring?? i think silver looks nice with white. People wont really be looking at your shoes anyway. Do you have a pic of them?
