wedding shoes

I have really bad knees....they ache all the time and dress shoes really aggravate the issue..can anyone recommend some comfy but pretty shoes for my wedding

I was thinking like.....Aerosoles etc. I want to wear low heels (but not flats!)

Thanks

Re: wedding shoes

Try going to The Bridal Shoe Boutique in carle Place, they are wonderful there and they will stretch the shoes, and add cushioning etc.

What if you wore nice shoes for ceremony and for the reception white sneakers.

These are the ones I am wearing, they have 2 inch heels, but they are so comfy.

Re: wedding shoes

They are made by coloriffics, and I got them at Craft shoes in COmmack. If you go to the website, they will email you a listing of other locations that carry them. I got them and and so did my BM's. And the best part wasthey only cost $45.

I'm looking for the same thing - comfy, low heeled shoes. I like these from Coloriffics:

Re: wedding shoes

There is another pair by coloriffics that are only one inch, open toe, come in white lux or satin, and unbelievably comfortable. If you want to try then on, they're at the bridal shoe store on Old Country Road across from Thomasville furniture (I just tried them on this past weekend).....You can aslo see them on the coloriffics site on the internet - they're called JOY

Re: wedding shoes

Believe it or not, there are so many comfy wedding shoes out there. Mine are only one inch...I can get away with it because my dress is very poofy. What does your dress look like?

My sister wanted to wear sneakers to her wedding. My mother was devastated!!! She wore them anyway and no one knew it. Her dress was so poofy that you couldn't even see them.

I plan to wear my shoes to the church and then for pictures...after that, I'm wearing sneakers!!!

Re: wedding shoes

I am wearing shoes for pictures and the cermony, but then probably the cocktail hour, but then after that, my Flip flops got. The whole BP will be wearing them, they are white with crystal beads on them.

I showed my mom the wedding isotoners i want! She just laughed at me! :) I said i just want them to wear while i'm getting ready (yeah sure! hehe) they really are pretty though!

I was thinking of open toed, but i've heard from some people that it looks like you are shoeless... also you really can't wear pantyhose right?
