I've ordered (and then returned) several pairs so far. I plan on ordering a few more together, trying them with my dress and hoping at least ONE will work!

Do you need to dye your shoes? I do and I find all the dyeables to be fuddy duddy! UGH I have one pair I need to try on with the dress, however the store I am ordering it from doesnt have it in that color so I need to go to another store! I dont love them though! The lady at the store said you wont even see them!

Re: Wedding shoes

I thought the shoes (and the hotel block) were going to be the death of me.

The problem is I normally wear heels. My FH is a little bit taller than me and normally I am taller and I do not care. For the wedding I don't want to be taller than him.

I looked and looked and looked and did not even see a pair of shoes that I at least liked (let alone love).

It was not until I realized that you will really not see my shoes (and that I realized that I am only wearing them for the ceremony since I want to change into flip flops for the reception) that I was able to get shoes. I got them from Sandys in Massapequa. They are about 1 - 2 inch heels. FH and I are the same height when I wear them!

Try Zappos. I bought my shoes from them

Re: Wedding shoes

The ones I picked out were 55 dollars which isnt too bad. I checked and they match the dress perfectly!

Pewter - have you checked Zappos? They have tons of shoes. I was at Casa De Mario and they had tons of Silver/Pewter too. I didnt get a good look but they had a ton. Someone recommended Estelles for shoes but I have not gone over there.

These.. love them. I actually saw them at Lord & Taylor yesterday and they look even better in person. If I wanted pewter shoes I'd buy these in a second!
