I think there is a store on 86th street, near bay parkway somewhere, maybe 20th ave. I can't remember the name. I know that's not much of a help but if you don't live far maybe you can drive by and see.
Last Chance shoes? That store is great. Up and down 86th street from 19th Ave to 23rd Ave. You can find great shoes... many comfortable / dyeables. If you want to ensure comfort... you can ask them to stretch the sides a bit...since feet tend to swell by the end of the day... they did it for my friend and she said it was the best suggestion ever.
