Wedding shoes - in NYC? Help!

I have my first fitting a week from Saturday and I have no wedding shoes yet!

I need to find a pair this weekend...where can I look for them in NYC? I'm sure a million places...I just don't know the best places to go. This is not an area I am looking to splurge on at all...please help!

RKBridal has shoes. I'm just not sure how much you want to spend. They have in the vicinity of $100.

I was told that it is just important to bring a shoe with the right heel height for your fitting.

I think you also want to wait until you have a swatch of your dress.

I would call your dress place to make sure rather than rushing to buy a shoe.

My Glass slipper on 6th ave & 22nd street or RK Bridal... or for L.I MJM Designer shoes on Hempstead Turnpike or DSW.

Hey Keri! Definitely try My Glass Slipper but also try DSW! If you go to the one in Union sq, when you go in, go to the last two aisles on the right--that's where their formal shoes are. You might find a deal there! Also, Jcrew and Ann Taylor (madison ave store only) have wedding shoes now too.

Definately go to DSW!! But all of the department stores should have great shoes too: Bloomies, Macy's, Barneys...

dsw in union square... walk in go to the right they have two full rows of bridal/evening shoes...

Thanks so much for all the ideas!!! Now I have lots of places to shop. I think I'll start at DSW and then head to My Glass Slipper from there...thanks girls!

Thanks for the ideas girls...bought 2 pairs of shoes today at DSW...I went to My Glass Slipper first - was not impressed much there. Not enough options.

My glass slipper is in NYC. They have nice bridal shoes but not too much selection. I love these Cynthia Rowley shoes. They are so comfortable and have a baby blue leather sole for the whole 'something blue' thing -
