Wedding Sneakers

Wedding Sneakers

Hi,
I really want to wear wedding sneakers at the reception. The thing is that I have had problems with my feet from overuse with running & cannot really wear the typical wedding sneakers that are like keds. I need supportive sneakers such as running sneakers. My concern is that will people really notice if I wear regular sneakers as opposed to the fancy wedding ones? Of course I'm going to try & get white (if I can find all white), but I just wanted to know if anyone had any input on this. Thank you.

Re: Wedding Sneakers

My mom has a lot of trouble with her arches and the doctor recommended the older style plain Reeboks. She also puts an arch support in it, but that would look fine!

Like I said before, if someone sees my feet and they dont like what they see - who cares!! Seriously in the whole scheme of things is it that important?

I say - go for comfort - you want to enjoy YOUR day. Im trying to find comfy flip flops that are WIDE wnough for my feet and cant find them anywhere.

I don't think anyone will notice, honestly. But if you are worried...

I don't know what you think of these. But I saw them on this site when I was searching for my ballet slippers. Don't worry if you hate them, I won't be offended. Maybe it will give you ideas.

Here are some sneakers that look somewhat supportive:

Or I'm sure you could also design your own leather Keds with sequins or lace..

I thought of that, but not with keds because they are not supportive enough. Thanks for the input.

Got it, thanks! I did go to the site, but the ones I wanted were a bit above my price range. I only am hesistating because I would only wear those sneakers once. So I decided to buy a pair of running sneakers that were mostly white with just a little silver in them - I know I will wear them after the wedding, so it just seem more worth it. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the websites...I think I'll feel so much more secure on my feet with sneakers rather than anything else.
