Help!! My fiance and I can't agree on choosing a wedding song! We both think it should be meaningful to US, and we want something original, not Etta James or Shania Twain that is used all the time! Any ideas!?!?

I don't know if anyone can suggest a song that will be meaningful to you. Is there any song that when you hear it automatically reminds you of him? Or vice versa?
For example, for my father-daughter dance I decided not to go with one of the usual songs but that we will dance to Wake up Little Suzy because he used to sing that to get me out of bed when I was a kid and I think of him every time I hear it!

Yea, your'e right, I phrased that wrong! For my father/daughter dance we are using Piano Man b/c I always used to play it on the piano and my dad loved it. As for my FH ... i liked sade by your side ... beautiful soul by jesse maccartney ... they're kinda different, soemthing you wouldn't hear all the time ..

Our song is Danny's song the chorus goes: Even though we aint got money I'm so in love with you honey and everything will bring the chain of love and in the mornin when I rise bring a tear of joy to my eyes and tell me everythings gonna be alright Different. I loved the Sade song but FH doesn't like her. He's anti-synthesizer!

We picked Sade - By your Side..the words are so beautiful and true (to our relationship). Every time I put the song on, I cry. It's gonna be tough to get through that one!

After listening to literally over 100 songs FH loved Jessica Simpsons song I wanna love you forever. the words are perfect for us and Im happy HE picked it out- its more meaningful to me that way.

We actually have two:
Edwin McCain - I could not ask for more ............this song came out when we first started dating and FH has always referred to it as 'our song' - it is beautiful.
BUT
Recently we fell in love with another song. We decided we will have our first dance to this, but b/c we know we will never hear it on the radio and say 'aww, our song is on!' we decided to consider both 'our song'
