i was just wondering what your songs were? I'm thinking a little non conventional . . . how about you guys?!

Funny, I was just having the same thought and was going to post something I'm torn on this one. I've always loved the song 'After All' by Cher and Peter Cetera but it was the recap song in my sister's wedding video so she has issues with that and my mom also picked it for her song last year when she got remarried. Sooooo, I've been on the hunt for a new song and if I don't find one I love just as much they can all just deal with it.

it's such a hard decision . . . i want something personal for FH and I but I don't wait to alienate people at the reception.

As long as it's pretty, and meaningful I'm sure it will be fine! Just don't go picking some weird emo hard rock song... That would probably alienate!

The Nearness of You by Norah Jones. FH and I listen to her a lot when we are cooking ( i know dorky) The original is by Frank Sinatra both are beautiful but Norah is a little more modern and has meaning to us :o)

ITA Are you girls inviting others to come out to dance during your first song as well? I know some don't.

irs soo funny cause I am not a country person at alllllll.. and I absolutely love the brad paisley and keith urban song.. no one would expect me to pick that, lol.

As for ceremony goes.. instead of Here comes the bride...
I was going to use Hey Jude- Instrumental version.. Its sooo pretty.. but then I realized Hey Jude was about DIVORCE!!

SO look up what the songs mean before you pick them haha..

So I might use In your eyes- Peter Gabriel -Instrumental version, and when we come back down the aisle.. All you need is love -instrumental version!

ps..kenny g song is awesomeeee -butterfly waltz is really pretty too!!
