I am getting married on July 4th and want to use sparklers as favors. Does anyone know of creative ways to tie it into the wedding besides the exit? Any cute sayings? Thanks

Re: Wedding Sparklers
Not sure what you mean by 'tie it in'. Do you mean using it during the reception?
Otherwise, I would put a personalized tag on them that says your names, date and then a quote like :
'Our love is on fire'
'The fireworks begin today and will last forever'
'Our love will shine forever'
Ok...these might sound corny cuz its 12:15am.

Is your wedding outside? If not, I would check with your hall to make sure you are allowed to light sparklers in the venue. Some may not let you.

the reception will be inside but we are the only wedding that day... so we have access to all of the grounds (golf course and gardens)

Hi date twin! I am curious about how you are doing things... what are your colors? are you doing anything fourth of july? My girls dresses are wearing lavender and I'm thinking of having pink and blue accents...

that's so funny b/c my girls will be in Lavender also - that's my favorite color! My CP will be in Lavender also and possibly even my uplighting. I'm having a beach theme for the table numbers, placecards etc. I'm not doing any fourth of July colors. I'm just hoping we'll see fireworks since we're right on the water! Where are you getting married?

Hi date twin :)
Sparklers are a great touch! I'm thinking of using them for our exit since the last hour & a half of our wedding is outside. I think this would create a gorgeous picture. I'm not sure exactly how I am going to work this out yet as far as how to distribute them, if I'm going to make labels, etc.
My colors and black, white, and green. I'm really not incorporating many traditional 4th of July items since I'm trying to stick with a modern/ vintage 1930s look.
Let me know how you decide to use the sparklers!

Def use them for the cake. Also, what about if you do a group pic outside later in the evening with everyone's sparklers lit up!!! That would look awesome!!!

I think sparklers are a very cute idea!
Positanochick - you should def be able to see fireworks from CLM especially if they bring back the firework show at Jones Beach. FH and I wanted to have fireworks for our wedding but we're getting married n October

Re: Wedding Sparklers
I think that's a really cute idea. However, I'm almost positive that sparklers are illegal in the state of New York...so you will probably need to check with your RH to make sure that is OK.
