Does anyone have any idea what the order of speeches is for the wedding reception? When does the father of the bride give his speech? Best Man? Maid of Honor?

The best man and the maid of honor usually give their speeches right after the first dance. They usually start the party with a toast. The father of the bride does not always make a speech. I guess you can coordinate with your DJ/band to see what is usually done. The one wedding I went to where the father of the bride gave a speech he did it right after dinner.

Generally the MOH gives her speech right after the first dance, and then the BM gives his after her.
I don't think father's are really giving speeches as much anymore.

I dont know if my MOH will give a speech... if she does its just going to be her and BM...

I did my speech first as MOH for my sister, then the BM gave a speech after me..
ETA: this was after the first dance. I dont think the father of the bride has to speak, only if you want him to or he wants to!
