wedding stamps are available!! financial district NYC

After I called a bunch of post offices, I found some in lower Manhattan that have BOTH the .41 & .58 stamp!!! The one on Church Street and the one on Peck Slip (by the Brooklyn Bridge supposedly) both have them!! My local post office at home only had the .41 cent stamp.....so stupid!! why wouldn't they have both as a set????

I work in Jersey City but when I transfer from the PATH I'm hitting up the post office in NYC....YAY!! I'm so excited!!!!

Yay Helen! What about in NJ? Maybe it would be easier for you to get them at work? Also, someone posted that you can order them online just in case...

yea thanks Gabi!! I checked the post office that's like 2 blocks from here- they were so stupid!!!! the woman who answered the phone told me she didn't even know they MAKE wedding stamps??? are you freakin kidding me?? You work for the post office!! it's your job to know!! So I didn't call any others in NJ b/c they would be in Hoboken or other parts that I dont know anything about! It's actually pretty easy b/c when I transfer from the PATH I can just go up the stairs to the street level and the post office should be right there!! yay!!!

oh and the online ordering thing, not sure how quickly they come, I called the customer service line and they told me they ship within 1 business day, and they usually get there in 3 to 5 business days!! I just can't trust the post office at this point, so I'd rather have them in my hand then have to stalk my mailbox everyday for the next week!! Lol I'm stuffing these envelopes this Saturday, whatever it takes!!

I just bought mine on Rt 111 in Hauppauge if anyone needs them. I am going to start stuffing my envelopes tonight.
