My wedding is on a Thursday night. Would a 6pm start time be considered too early. Should I make it a little later?

i would do a little later due to people coming from work. we chose 7pm

hmmmm... i personally would have to leave work early or be late to get to a wedding at that time. But I can see the concern in making it later if people have work the next day. I think 630 would be good... 30 minutes could make a big difference! BUT... people who want to be there close to ontime will be either way, so you should do waht makes you happy!

i went to a thursday wedding last month. the invite said 6pm. we were freakin out because there was so much traffic. we got there at 605pm not knowing the ceremony started at 630. thank god!!!
my advice... do what they did. 6pm on the invite 630 start time
