Wedding Table Cameras?

So...what are the best disposables out there? I will need a flash...I don't want to spend all the $$$ to buy them and develop them if the pics are going to suuck.

Anyone have any experience with these bad boys?

kodak...fuji...???? Recommendations????

We went with the CD's on the table. We printed up labels and people raved about it!

So...what did they take the CD home and put their pictures on it and then return the disc to you? maybe? I'm guessing here...

You can also set up a personal webpage on shutterfly, then give your guests the password and they can upload their digital photos directly.

Yup exactly.

I had heard the idea on here and thought it was unique since I'm so used to the table cameras (IMO people don't really use them or you get all of the same shots).

I think it ended up being less expensive than doing table pictures.

I dont know, but youre going to end up with LOTS of photos of peoples breasts and penises I bet.

I like the shutterfly idea. I didn't know that they did that. I got the cameras already. CVS had a sale on the disposable Kodaks-bogo. They were $10 for 2. I also got a few digital cameras for the immediate family. I know my daughter used the camera and FH brother's wedding last year and the sweet 16 yesterday. I think it is worth it even if you get only a few good shots. It may be something you missed but enjoyed seeing afterwards.

This really does happen more than it doesn't lol I think that the pictures that come out are always blurry or someone gets in the way of a good shot. It costs so much to develop these days and most people have digital cameras and snap pics throughout the day...they'll send them to you MINUS the boobage lol

I am just going to get them developed right onto CD only. I think it's like $2 a roll. Then you can sort through and see which ones are worth printing. :)

also, definitely gonna set up a snapfish account for my guests to upload their digitals. i love that idea....

Hey, Kat! are you doing this? /|\
If so, I will make up little business card-sized cards to put on the tables with the info.
(AsAp, since you're down to 26 days!)

we were going to originally but everyone has digital cameras right now and developing the disposables gets expensive. you dont really get the greatest pix anyway.

we are putting something on the back of our programs (and possibly on the tables) that says:

did you catch something we didn't?

please email your digital photos from the ceremony and reception to [email address]. Thanks!

my brother had the disposable cameras on the tables at his wedding...and at the end of the night half of them were gone b/c people took them home. i don't think they ever got them back.

i think if you have a photog and you have friends and family taking pics that will be fine. i am going to give my own camera to one of my friends too, to be sure i actually get some of the pics that other people are taking.

To do something cheaper than the cameras, you can leave CDs on the table so guests can save the pictures to it and send them to you. Or you can leave a card on the table with your email address asking them to send the pictures to you.

That's what we're going to do. I'm going to print up business cards with this info and have it at every place setting.

I wouldn't go with disposable cameras. The quality is always horrible. Waist of money. I like the CD idea though...

Good Luck :)
