Wedding talk w FH last night

So FH was at work yesterday and emailed me and said that we should have dinner just the 2 of us last night, he wanted to talk about the wedding.
So we did....
Here is the result of the conversation
1. HE wants to add 9 people to the guest list! After he complained that I added one more couple and my family is bigger-

2. wants me to talk to his mom about forking over
the $$ like she said she would.... LAST spring

3. He wants to change some of the decor

4. No 'and Guest' to the rehersal dinner



Now these things have been ironed out last night. but- My god... I love that boy,, LMAO he had a list

well he had a list so that was good...

I am having the same convo with my FH because my fam is bigger and he wants to keep adding more....

The thing is, I had these people on the 'B' list for him. They are people that he works with. He went and told them to save the date!! Now they are expecting to come.

We have already announced the wedding through save the dates to 50 people over our minimum which is 25 less than our maximum! so now we are at 18 less than our MAX for the room 'invited'

FH made me talk to his mother about her part of the money..and it was the most akward thing ever..tell him it his mom..he should do it

even though it was ok i the end..it was just uncomfortable

I know it will be ok. He is going to be there, he just doesnt want to back down i guess.
Either way we are asking for it., it is 10 months frin when she said that she was going to give it to us

How nice of FH to have a list to present to you- at least his thoughts are organized. It is good that you both sat down together to talk about it .

FH has a wedding talk with me at least 3 times a day. It is not his busy season at work so he sits at his desk, crunching numbers, driving me crazy! Its nice though, that he is on top of the budget and tells me each month how much left we have to pay off, etc. As for talking to parents about money. We made a deal from day one....I will talk to my parents about everything wedding related and he will talk to his parents and report back to each other. I dont want to strain my relationship with the in-laws and vice-versa for him.

Too cute of FH!!!! love that...

I think he is cute too, so I figured I'd marry him!

It is a good idea to talk to your own parents. He doesnt want to know the budget.. he wants to know if we can or can not afford certain things. I take care of mailing payments. LOL

I wish my FH didnt want to know the budget, but he kind of set it (well we did together). HE is trying to talk me out of OOT Bags because he thinks it is a waste of money....I think it is a nice touch......we battle over little things all the time....I say OOT Bags...he wants a Ice Luge!
