Wedding thank you cards...

Wedding thank you cards...

I just got a thank you in the mail, it is absolutely beautiful but the writing is not handwritten, it is obviously computer printed. Maybe i'm not with the times but i thought thank you's were supposed to be hand written as to not appear 'impersonal'. Obviously having them printed is so much easier and would save me alot of time, but is it the right thing to do? The cards are gorgeous and id love to do something similiar but is it ok not to hand write wedding thank yous?

im all about the hand writing i think its so important to write them and let your guest know how much you appreciate everything they did and coming to your wedding ment alot!... thats my opinion!

I agree, hand written means more to people, and I feel like it is more personal.

i will be honest - we got a thank you card from a baby shower and there was one line written by hand and the generic thank you was on a label stuck to the card...

i felt like it was a 'not nice' thing to do...

I will handwrite them, not to offend any of my guests! But if I knew everyone was just like me and didn't care I would print them out!!!!

my cousin did that kind of printed thank you, i thought the card was really nice, but my mom made a point to say that she thought it was impersonal. For me i prefer to hand write my thank you's.
