Wedding Theme

Hey everyone,

I would like to know what theme everyone is going for. I originally wanted a destination wedding, I love Barbados and wanted to have a wedding there. However, my family kind of objected to it. I really want my famiily there, so I decided to have it on Long Island instead. I am from the Caribbean and would love to have a Caribbean theme without making it seem cheesy or tacky. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think you could def have a Caribbean theme without making it tacky. Instead of doing really bright colors, maybe try the muted, softer colors. Something breezy.

I think youcould definitely do a beach/caribbean theme without being tacky. I would do suble tie-ins with the menus, favors, programs etc. Also bright colored flowers and BM dresses. Good luck!!!
