How are you tying everything in together? From your invites, favors, decor, etc...
While I am currently working on the big stuff (vendors), I really want to get to the good DIY stuff! I feel like I need a theme to be able to do so.

Re: Wedding Theme...
I actually just started my DIY stuff this week!
We're getting married at Thatched Cottage, so it's already very whimsical & garden-y.... we're having bird houses & bird cages & lanterns as different centerpieces for the tables. I found these adorable heart shaped bird seed ornaments for favors on etsy. And we're doing a finger print tree as a guestbook.... so a garden theme is what we're going for! I'm very excited because it's all coming together nicely!

Re: Wedding Theme...
I've had a theme long in mind before getting all the big vendors nailed down.
We're doing sorta a modern twisted on medieval - somewhere between Ever After and Knight's Tale. We're both into renaissance faires, history and other things.

I had a peacock theme, and I loved how everything came together. You can check out my review if you'd like, I have a ton of pictures on there

Re: Wedding Theme...
I'm doing a nautical theme. We are right on the water, and the ferry boats go by, so it fits in well. We are using yellow and navy as our colors. I am going to put anchors, ship's wheels, and compasses in the small centerpieces for cocktail hour (they are small vases with sand and a tea light), I want to do messages in a bottle for the table numbers, I am going to DIY nautical flag garland for the outside bar, and I may get a few other nautical items for decor on the bars (I was thinking of naming each bar - like the Anchor Bar, the Pelican Bar, etc).

We are doing a Celtic Renaissance theme. We have candelabras, Flags for the tables with Heraldic pictures. Invitations are scrolls, addressing everyone as 'Lady' or 'Sir', Gonna cut the cake with a sword, etc.
