Wedding time question

For a Saturday evening wedding, is 2AM too late for it to end? and do most people stay or have you noticed people running out earlier?

Thanks

Re: Wedding time question

What time would the CH/reception be starting?

I think it depends on the person/the crowd...I'd think, though, that the bulk of the older people & the parents of young kids would prob bail between 12am & 1am even if they were having a blast...your friends/party people would prob stick around until the end though...

Re: Wedding time question

I'm wondering the same thing.

My wedding will begin at 4pm (cocktails), and I have the hall until the morning. I was told, however, that people leave 6 hours after you begin, no matter what time you begin.

I hope it's not true!

it depends....do you have more older guests than ones your age?

I went to a late night wedding and everyone stayed who was close to the couple. but since i was only a friend of a friend i ducked out early...it got too late by the time the viense hour started!
