I have been pulling from a few different timeline/checklists I found online including the one from here... My timeline is pretty different though; I basically am doing everything I'm supposed to do 9-12 months out in 1-2 months since I got engaged in Aug, started planning in Sept and getting married in May.
Does anyone have a checklist that they are using now? Or ones that are more realistic? Thanks in advance!

I think those check lists are for brides not in NYC or LI. If you want to book a vendor because you love them, then do it!! It's your wedding and things book quickly in LI.

i agree i use the knot i think its good for ny wedding. i also add my own stuff onto it

I use the knot as well as my wedding planning binder that I orderd on Amazon, but FH thinks going by a specific timeline is ridiculous. We've only been engaged a month and book videographer and photographer!! It definitely helps though :)

i use wedding wire and my binder i got at michaels and my excel sheet which is really just a $ in & out but it has a list of major things (well anything having to do with $) and when i expect to do them
