Everytime I look at one of these they say something different.. For example, one tells you to start looking at dresses one year in advance the next tells you anywhere from 6-9 months before.. same differences with ordering the bridesmaid dresses.. does anyone have one that they feel is pretty accurate about when to do what?? Thanks

well, considering my entire engagement will be only 10 months, that time line clearly does not work for me!

i think it depends on the region of the country the timeline is referring to......being we're new yorkers we always have to pay more and wait longer....your best bet start early, ask the bridal salon what they suggest and then just wait to order when they think is best....i personally dont want my dress to come in 6 months early and have to store it!
