Hey All, Ok is there anyone out there with a good wedding to do list for a wedding that will be next June month by month? My friend says I am becoming very overpowering with trying to do everything now and to slow down. I have the place and photographer booked along with my registry. I am getting very pressured with things because every place I talk to says I need to book now. What is the true booking time of things. Can anyone help me with a good to do list?

Re: Wedding to do list
For a June wedding I would at least have all of the vendors booked, then work out the details with each of them later. June is a very popular wedding month & vendors can book up to 2 years in advance if they are in demand.
The only thing I might wait on is Limo's. You can book them closer to your date if you are going with a traditional car.

Don't let the vendors pressure you into booking. I got engaged this past Christmas and planned a wedding in seven months. Just do your research! You're lucky in that you can see several vendors for each before deciding. Happy Planning

Hi!! First congratulations!! There is no real 'correct' way to do things...no matter what you will always have something to do and it seems as if the list never ends. However, there is nothing wrong w/wanting to have stuff done early. I was engaged last September and I had my dress 2 weeks after, the place, bridal party picked out, their dress...photographer, and videographer. Most vendors will try to make you book w/them and scare you by saying 'we can't promise the date will be available w/out a deposit''. Don't let that be the reason you go with them...if anything it should be a reason not to..because they are not being truthful. There are girls who pull of a wedding in 4 months...so the need to book immediately is not always true. Once you have found a vendor you love..then you go with them. Go with your gut feeling. Good luck!!
Here is a list of what to do month by month..just in case:
