Wedding tonight...Larkfield Manor

I am going to a wedding tonight at the larkfield manor. Anyone want me to report back to them????

yes- Please report...lol. I heard that both chefs are gone and this has been an ongoing battle between me and parents (who only liked the food there and gave me such a hard time about booking there- so please give me the honest run down even if you have to FM me. Thanks so much!!!

When did you hear that? I was at a wedding there last month and everything was great!

first I thought it was a rumor...like a month ago- but it turned out to be true. So I'm not exactly sure. My fiance went to school with one of the waiters who worked there for a long time ( I think he was leaving too). And I used to hear what was going on with new owners, etc. BUT I LOVE IT THERE.

eta: And if you were there like a month ago- and everything was fine- then I guess we have nothing to worry about....right???

Don't worry about it too much. Sometimes change can be for the better. Ask any Westbury Manor bride... We were freaking out over the mgmt/owner chgs last year, but so far they've been for the better. (except for those freakin' statues in the chapel garden... - ugh...)

True- but when the saving grace for me was the food ( and my family is crazy when it comes to food..)they loved the chefs. They even came out to meet us. And if that changes, then its like having a party in a whole other place (in my position)...and...I'm curious to know why. Did they change the menu? IS the food different? I dont know- I'm just worried.
